Stephen presented a petition prepared by some of the victims of sexual misconduct allegations against City Councillor Rick Chiarelli.  The petition called for a legal framework be created to remove City Councillors from office for physical, sexual or emotional abuse.

Stephen presented a bill to this effect.  Bill 265, Stopping Harassment and Abuse by Local Leaders Act, 2021 passed first reading but has not yet been given a date for further debate.
