10th anniversary of Millennium Park
June 4 marked the 10th anniversary of the opening of the expanded Millennium Park following a major $8 million investment that Stephen Blais was very proud to secure as a City Councillor.
For the past decade, Millennium Park has been a gathering place for our community, hosting countless sporting events, family outings, walks along the nature trail and providing a free water refuge for those scorching Ottawa summers.
Millennium Park remains one of Orléans’ most cherished public spaces and an important part of what makes our community so special.
As City Councillor, Stephen Blais was proud to champion the installation of two automated external defibrillators at Millennium Park.
As someone who understands the importance of quick access to life-saving equipment, he wanted to help ensure that this community space was as safe as possible for the thousands of residents who use it each year.
If you haven’t been to Millennium Park lately, we encourage you to stop by and enjoy one of Orléans’ premier community spaces. It's well worth a visit.
