Cumberland Councillor Stephen Blais welcomed Athon Varvaresos owner of The Corner Bar & Grill to Orléans.
“Small business is the backbone of our economy,” says Councillor Blais. “Small business owners like Athon employ thousands across our region and provide extraordinary benefit to our community.”
The new Orléans location at the corner of Tenth Line and Charlemagne (South) is the third Corner Bar & Grill in Ottawa and offers a wide variety of locally brewed beer and a menu suited for all.
“We are starting to see more restaurants and pubs establish themselves in Orléans,” adds Blais. “The market is here, our community is welcoming and supports small business. We are doing a better job of promoting Orléans as ‘Open for Business’ by investing in key infrastructure and focusing on economic development.”
People can view their menu and much more at http://www.cornerbarandgrill.ca.
“By supporting local small businesses we will demonstrate that Orléans is a good place to do business and hopefully attract more and more of these businesses to our community.”
