On September 24, the Ministry of Health approved coverage for Trikafta, the latest and most effective treatment option for patients who suffer from cystic fibrosis.
Trikafta was approved by the Public Health Agency of Canada in June 2021. I am glad to hear that the Ontario government has finally come to a solution to provide coverage for patients waiting for this life-changing treatment here in Ontario.
