WHEREAS, Ottawa Road 174, formerly the Provincial Highway 17, was downloaded on the Regional Municipality of Ottawa-Carleton in 1997 by the Mike Harris Conservative Government.

WHEREAS, the City of Ottawa spends millions of dollars every year to operate and maintain the highway.

WHEREAS, it is the policy of the City of Ottawa that the road to be re-uploaded to the Province.

We the undersigned petition the Legislative Assembly of Ontario as follows: To demand full responsibility and obligations of OR 174 & Old HWY 17 be uploaded to the Province of Ontario.
