MPP Stephen Blais spent a full day at the Rural Ontario Municipal Association’s annual conference (#ROMA2026), engaging with rural municipal leaders from across the province. As the Ontario Liberal Critic for Infrastructure and Municipal Affairs, he is listening closely to concerns about chronic municipal funding shortfalls and the lack of sustained investment in municipal infrastructure—issues that are critical to the long-term sustainability of rural communities throughout Ontario.
