Stephen Blais is pleased to present the concept plans for the highly anticipated Chaperal Community Park.

Located at the corner of Strasbourg and Lakepoint this $1.3 million park is being constructed years ahead of schedule.

"Typically parks such as this are not built until the community is virtually done," says Blais. "The new City Council moved quickly to make parks a priority after the election which has lead to Chaperal Park being designed years ahead of schedule."

The City is looking for residents feedback on the concept plans which includes:

  • Mini Soccer Field

  • Splash Pad

  • Jr. Play Area

  • Sr. Play Area

  • Swings

  • Toddler Play Area

  • Picnic Shelter

  • Seasonal Hockey Rink / Volleyball area

  • Puddle Rink

  • Basketball Key

  • Benches

  • Pathways for jogging and rollerblading

  • Open green space

  • Dozens of Trees
