Recognizing outstanding contributions to la francophonie with the Ordre de la Pléiade🎖️

MPp Stephen Blais had the pleasure to congratulate Johanne Lacombe and Lynn Brouillette from Orléans on being named recipients of the Ordre de la Pléiade this year!

Johanne Lacombe was just reelected as the President of the Conseil des écoles catholiques du centre-est for her 11th mandate. She is a dedicated champion for promoting and strengthening French-language education across our province.

Lynn Brouillette served as the first President of the Association des collèges et universités de la francophonie canadienne and has been a strong advocate for advancing French-language post-secondary education in Ontario.

Both Johanne and Lynn are very deserving of this distinction, and they make Orléans very proud.
