Order of La Pléiade recipient: a very proud moment for Orléans’ francophone community

This week, I had the absolute honour of recognizing Mélanie Routhier Boudreau for being named a Member of the Order of La Pléiade this year.

Ms. Routhier Boudreau serves as the Executive Director of MIFO (Mouvement d’implication francophone d’Orléans). Under her exceptional leadership, MIFO has strengthened its role and presence in Ontario’s diverse francophone community through expanded partnerships and community development initiatives. This recognition is a testament to her contributions to Ontario’s francophone community.

For those of you who might not know, the Order of La Pléiade is an international honour that recognizes individuals for their outstanding contributions to the promotion of the French language and francophone culture.

I was happy to present Ms. Routhier Boudreau with a congratulatory certificate at MIFO’s 48th Annual General Meeting that took place this week.

MIFO continues to play a significant role in bringing together and celebrating our beautiful francophone community here in Orléans. Thank you so much to the staff, volunteers, board members and community partners for all of their hard work.
