Meeting with local health care leaders

I always appreciate the opportunity to meet with health care leaders in Orléans.

It was a pleasure meeting with Dina Mohsen, Chair of the Ottawa chapter of the Canadian Muslim Healthcare Network, and Dr. Manal Badi from the Family First Health Clinic in Orléans to discuss the challenges facing Ontario's health care system. We spoke about chronic underfunding, barriers to care for newcomers and the importance of strengthening cross-cultural collaboration to improve access.
