Celebrating young francophone voices

In April, I had the pleasure of meeting Sherley, a teacher from Orléans, during her visit to Queen’s Park with the Association of Franco-Ontarian Teachers.

During our meeting, Sherley shared with me a wonderful French public speaking contest she was organizing for students in Orléans this summer. This initiative gives young students the opportunity to build their confidence, develop their public speaking skills and celebrate their love of the French language.

The final round will take place on Saturday August 8th at 1:00pm at Holy Voice bookstore located at 1080 St. Pierre Street in Orléans.

Members of the public are welcome to attend. I encourage everyone to come out and cheer on these incredibly talented young French speakers!
