The Provincial Government is relying on local Public Health Units like Ottawa Public Health to develop and implement the COVID-19 vaccination program.

Throughout the pandemic, it has been local health units that have lead the way.

In the 2019 budget the Government proposed to cut Public Health funding by 27%.

Stephen asked the Minister if the government still plans to make these drastic cuts after public health units have lead the way during the COVID-19 pandemic.
