Bombing Dresden with Garbage & Walkerton lessons

MPP Stephen Blais called out the government for turning Dresden, Ontario into collateral damage, betraying their promise of an environmental review and putting an unwanted dump on a community that doesn’t trust the process. We deserve better than broken promises and political shortcuts.

We can’t afford to forget Walkerton. Cutting corners on water protection has real, human costs; families, lives, and trust. Bill 5 weakens environmental safeguards and breaks faith with the people of Dresden. How long until another Ontario community pays the price?
