Engaging the next generation of leaders
MPp Stephen Blais visiting Chapel Hill Catholic School to be a teacher for a day and speak with grade four, five and six students about Ontario civics.
“I love being able to visit schools in Orléans and speak to students about how Ontario’s government works. When we start young, we help inspire the next generation of future leaders to get involved in their local communities.
The Legislative Assembly has a great educational presentation designed for an introduction to civics in Ontario, which was a lot of fun to explore with the students.
Thank you to teacher Amy Nesbitt, to principal Dan Rigley and to all of the curious and super engaged students for the very warm welcome.”
