More Government Resignations

As the $8.3 billion benefit to insiders greenbelt controversy continues to unravel the Government has seen more resignations.

The Minister of Public and Business Service Delivery has resigned his position in Cabinet and withdrawn from the government caucus to sit as an independent. This is as a result of having provided incorrect information to the Integrity Commissioner relating to a trip to Las Vegas with a former Senior Aid to the Premier and a developer who is wrapped up in the Greenbelt Scandal identified by the Auditor General and the Integrity Commissioner.

Seniors Aids to the Premier and his Government have also resigned.

Following these resignation the Minister of Labour announced that he would also be stepping down from Government and leaving politics altogether.
