With the start of in-person learning and the rise of COVID-19 cases, I have written to the Premier to advocate for important measures to keep us safe, including a safe and secure proof of vaccination also known as a vaccine passport.

The Premier has replied, telling me the Government has no plans to implement a vaccine certificate / passport for Ontario. You can view the response from the Premier here.

Both the Ontario Chamber of Commerce and the Canadian Federation of Independent Business support a vaccine passport system to help avoid business closure or lockdowns as a result fo the fourth-wave.
