It’s now been 17 days since the start of the illegal occupation in downtown Ottawa, and the Premier’s Government continues to be radio silent.
The federal government created the Trilateral Table between the federal government, the Ontario government, and the City of Ottawa to help bring an end to the ongoing occupation.
The provincial government has failed to attend all three Trilateral Table meetings.
I wrote to the Premier asking why the provincial government has not been participating in these meetings.

Additionally, late last week, demonstrators also started to blockade Ottawa school zones and the Ottawa Airport. This is completely unacceptable. Schools are meant to be a safe space for children to learn, and the safety of our students and staff should not be threatened.
Ottawa is under siege, and it will take all three orders of government working together to end this illegal occupation. I am urging the provincial government to step up and tell these occupiers that enough is enough, it is time to pack up and go home.
